If you follow me on Twitter, you probably already know that I made some bread on Saturday night and had a few problems. I was craving pumpkin bread and remembered that on my recent trip Lori’s I picked up some Pumpkin Bread by Anna. I was hesitate to try it. I can be a very picky eater but I have to tell you, this was wonderful. This was a good as mom’s. It had a wonderful moist texture. Gary could not even tell it was gluten free. This is definitely going to be a staple in my kitchen.

Next time… I think I will put it in muffin pans and mix up some cream cheese or maple frosting. Yumm!!

Now I am following you. My nephew got me hooked on it. He hints for homemade ice cream sometimes. I really need to get around and make the boy some.

Hi Lea,
I just discoved your blog because of the “Adopt a gluten free blogger” thingie. I read that you turned 37 recently. Don’t start dreading the big 4-0 just yet! My 38th year was the best of my adult life. I was strong and lean and tan and happy. Looking back, it may have been because I had a small farm that year, and lived on mostly vegetables. I grew specialty produce and herbs for local restaurants. Everything was pretty! I ate everything that wasn’t quite pretty enough to sell. It was a very good year.

Happy 37th!

Hi Kay,

Thanks for stopping by. Unfortunately 33 was my best year! I was also thin and tan and in the best shape of my life. But then I got really sick and it all started to go down hill, right now I am trying to get a broken foot to heal it’s been 6 months.

But the grass is getting green again and the trees will be budded soon so how can you now look up and think that everything will be ok. I love this time of year.

I hope you stop by again. Nice to meet you.
