The Fair
Yesterday was fair day. I left work early and met mom & dad at the fair so that Miss Sarah and I could play in the goat barn.

We giggled and we…

giggled some more!

This one was just her size and they had quite a conversation.

We let the goats nibble on our fingers and we
giggled even more.
All in all it was a successful day at the fair and now I need to go find some goats to buy so that Lil’ Miss Sarah can have her own goats!
Everyday…

Me & Betty Draper

I have recently become obsessed with Mad Men on A&E. My nephew bought me season one on DVD and that is how I have ended my day the last week. Of course, as with anything that I find that I enjoy I didn’t start watching until the 3rd season. The other night Betty made Don buttered steak for dinner (of course she didn’t get to enjoy it since he brought Roger home unexpectedly and she ended up with a salad) but it just sounded so good. How can it not be it’s cooked in butter? So tonight I am going to attempt to cook butter steak. I found this post on The Paupered Chef that has great directions. So wish me luck!
With my steak though I have made Garlic Hasselback Potatoes with Herbed Sour Cream. I found this recipe on the Food Network as one of the top 60 in 2009. They smell heavenly in the oven right now and my stomach is growling. I will post both recipes if they turn out as wonderful as I hope they go.
Till next time I wish all of you a Happy and Healthy 2010!
